West Palm Beach, Florida – Residents of West Palm Beach will soon have an opportunity to connect with a wide range of community organizations and public agencies as the Mandel Public Library prepares to host its fourth annual Community Resource Marketplace later this month.

Scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, the free event is designed to help people learn about local programs, support services, and government resources that are available throughout Palm Beach County. Organizers say the gathering aims to make it easier for individuals and families to access assistance by bringing dozens of organizations together under one roof.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the library’s third floor, where the auditorium and nearby meeting rooms will be transformed into a central hub for information, guidance, and community outreach. Admission is free, and every service offered during the event will be available to the public at no cost.

More than 30 nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, government agencies, and community groups are expected to participate, offering information tailored to people at different stages of life. Resources will be available for children and families, older adults, military veterans, job seekers, and individuals looking for healthcare, financial education, or other community support.

Library officials say the annual marketplace continues to grow as more organizations recognize the value of meeting residents face-to-face and helping them discover services they may not know exist.

“This event connects residents directly with valuable services and resources while highlighting the many organizations working to support our community,” said Lisa Hathaway, Library Director.

Attendees will have the chance to speak directly with representatives from organizations specializing in maternal and child health, early childhood education, youth development, disability services, employment assistance, healthcare, financial literacy, housing support, and public safety.

Among this year’s participants are Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies, Boys Town, Bezos Academy, Easterseals Early Steps, Speak Up for Kids, CareerSource, HCA Florida Healthcare, FoundCare Health Center, Change My Community, Pace Center for Girls, Children’s Home Society, Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Community Care Plan, the Coalition for Independent Living Options, Dress for Success, Guardians Credit Union, Tree of Life Resource Center, 211 Palm Beach and Treasure Coast, the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division, Palm Beach County Veteran Services, VA Healthcare, Faith-Hope-Love Charity, Trusted Homecare Agency, the Florida Department of Children and Families, World System Builder Financial Literacy Campaign, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, and other community partners.

The broad range of participating organizations reflects the event’s mission of serving residents with diverse needs. Whether someone is searching for employment opportunities, healthcare information, educational resources, assistance for veterans, or support for children and families, organizers hope visitors will leave with practical information and new connections.

For many agencies, the marketplace also provides an opportunity to introduce their programs to people who may not otherwise encounter them. By gathering numerous service providers in one location, the event helps simplify what can often be a confusing search for assistance, allowing visitors to compare programs, ask questions, and receive guidance directly from knowledgeable staff.

The Community Resource Marketplace has become one of the Mandel Public Library’s signature outreach initiatives, reinforcing the library’s role as more than a place for books and research. In addition to its traditional services, the library regularly hosts educational programs, workshops, and community events that connect residents with valuable local resources.

Officials encourage anyone interested in learning more about available services in the West Palm Beach area to attend the event, regardless of age or background. Organizers say the marketplace is intended to be welcoming and accessible to everyone, offering an easy way to discover programs that can make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

Additional information about the Community Resource Marketplace is available through the Mandel Public Library’s website or by contacting the library directly at (561) 868-7760.
