Pompano Beach Arts announces return of the fifth annual Jazz Fest Pompano Beach with two days of music by the ocean
Pompano Beach, Florida – Music lovers along Florida’s coast will once again gather by the sea as Pompano Beach Arts prepares to host the fifth edition of Jazz Fest Pompano Beach. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, the two-day celebration promises a lively blend of world-class jazz performances, rising local artists, and a vibrant food scene — all set against the backdrop of the Atlantic shoreline in Pompano Beach.
Now entering its milestone fifth year, the festival has steadily grown into one of the region’s most anticipated cultural gatherings. Over time, the event has attracted tens of thousands of visitors, drawing audiences not only from across South Florida but also from jazz fans traveling from other parts of the country. Organizers say the festival’s appeal lies in its relaxed beachside atmosphere, strong musical lineup, and welcoming community vibe.
This year’s program once again brings together a group of renowned performers. Saturday’s schedule features acclaimed saxophonist Kim Scott and smooth jazz legend Richard Elliot. The evening will culminate with a headline performance from Brian Culbertson, whose energetic blend of jazz, funk, and R&B has earned him a loyal following worldwide.
Sunday shifts the spotlight to a different musical experience. A tribute ensemble known as The Purple Project, led by pianist Martin Bejerano, will perform a creative reimagining of songs by Prince. Also appearing on Sunday are saxophonist Walter Beasley and the festival’s final headliner, the dynamic jazz-funk collective Ghost-Note.
Beyond the main stage, the event will also spotlight regional performers through the festival’s Local Talent Stage. Saturday afternoon performances will include Haley Cove, Garçon de Kilimanjaro, and Nicole Kidd. On Sunday, audiences can enjoy sets by The Fella Band, Kizie The Violist, and Inner Court, offering visitors a chance to discover emerging voices from the local music scene.
Food is another central part of the experience. The festival’s Beachside Taste of Pompano will feature a wide range of culinary options from beloved local restaurants, including Lucky Fish, Oceanic, The Beach House, Baresco, Falafel Beach Grill, The Briny Pub, Taco Station, Carlucci’s, Lola’s on the Water, Zoe’s Beachside Grill, and Stingers. Guests can sample everything from seafood and tacos to Mediterranean dishes and beachside favorites while enjoying the live music.
Admission to Jazz Fest Pompano Beach remains free, though organizers recommend that attendees register in advance. Visitors are encouraged to bring beach chairs or blankets to relax during the performances, and rideshare services are suggested due to limited parking near the waterfront venue.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, VIP passes will be available for Sunday’s performances. These passes provide access to premium seating areas, a private bar, and a commemorative festival swag bag.
With music drifting over the ocean breeze, a diverse lineup of performers, and the flavors of local restaurants filling the air, Jazz Fest Pompano Beach 2026 is expected to deliver a memorable weekend of rhythm, culture, and coastal energy. For many attendees, it has become not just a festival but a yearly tradition that celebrates both the art of jazz and the vibrant community that gathers around it.
