West Palm Beach’s GreenMarket once again competes for the coveted USA TODAY 10Best Farmers Market title, with voting now open for the public to cast their support

West Palm Beach, Florida – The West Palm Beach GreenMarket has once again earned a spot in the prestigious USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice poll for the “Best Farmers Market” award. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the market’s continued success and popularity, as it aims to secure a place among the top ten farmers markets in the nation. The GreenMarket has maintained a position as one of the best for the past four years, consistently ranking at the top of the list with three consecutive years at No. 1 (2021, 2022, and 2023) and earning the No. 2 spot in 2024.

This year, the market is determined to reclaim the top position and is encouraging the public to participate in the voting process by casting a vote each day. With the slogan, “A vote a day brings the win our way!” the West Palm Beach GreenMarket is calling on all supporters to help make this goal a reality. Voting is open until Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:59 a.m. EDT, and participants can vote daily to support their beloved local market.

The USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice poll began with a panel of travel experts selecting their top 20 farmers markets from across the country. Now, the public has the chance to vote for the top ten finalists. The final rankings will be announced on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The annual USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice awards celebrate the best of the best in numerous categories, ranging from destinations and food to hotels and activities, providing an opportunity for the public to acknowledge the country’s top offerings in various sectors.

The West Palm Beach GreenMarket, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this season, is set to conclude on April 26, 2025. Since its founding, the GreenMarket’s mission has been to provide seasonal access to locally grown produce and agricultural products, directly benefiting southeast Florida’s agricultural community. The market plays a crucial role in supporting local farmers and artisans, and it has been recognized by reputable outlets like The Boston Globe and Cooking Light magazine, which named it Florida’s top green market.
