City of Sunrise announces adjusted hours for Memorial Day 2025

City of Sunrise , Florida – The City of Sunrise has announced special operating hours for its various facilities in observance of Memorial Day on May 26, 2025. While the City’s administrative offices, the Sunrise Senior Center, and the Theatre Box Office will be closed for the holiday, several community services and recreational facilities will remain open with adjusted hours.

Most city parks will continue their regular operating hours, remaining open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., providing residents with ample time to enjoy outdoor activities. For those interested in fitness, the Civic Center Athletic Club will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Civic Center Aquatics Complex will also open its doors from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering a chance for residents to cool off and enjoy the water.

The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club will operate during regular hours, allowing golf enthusiasts to tee off as usual. Meanwhile, the Sunrise Tennis Club will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., catering to those looking to enjoy a game of tennis over the holiday weekend.

For those looking for community activities, the SAC Multipurpose Center and the Village Multipurpose Center will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. These centers will offer residents an opportunity to engage in various recreational and social activities.

City services such as garbage, recycling, and bulk trash collection will continue as scheduled, ensuring that residents’ waste management needs are met without disruption.

The City of Sunrise encourages residents to make the most of these special hours while celebrating Memorial Day. The holiday is a time to honor the sacrifices of those who have served in the military, and this year, the City is providing a chance for everyone to enjoy their favorite facilities and amenities while taking part in the observance.
