The proclamation highlights the state’s ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and celebrating their service to the nation.

Florida is home to nearly 1.4 million veterans, making it one of the largest veteran populations in the country. The state has consistently been recognized as one of the most military- and veteran-friendly states, offering a wide range of programs and benefits designed to support service members both during and after their military careers.

“Florida is proud to honor our veterans and their families for their selfless service and sacrifice,” Gov. DeSantis said in a statement following the signing.
