West Palm, Florida – The City of West Palm Beach, in partnership with Roundtree Training & Consulting, LLC, is offering local entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to sharpen their communication skills with the launch of Speak to Succeed: Public Speaking Mastery for Entrepreneurs. This four-week professional development series is designed to help participants influence, inspire, and grow their businesses through improved public speaking and executive presence.

Scheduled for February 2026, the program will be offered in a hybrid format to accommodate working professionals, combining both in-person and virtual sessions. The training sessions will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following dates:

• Session 1 – February 3, 2026 (In-Person): Foundations of Public Speaking for Entrepreneurs
• Session 2 – February 10, 2026 (Virtual): Crafting Your Entrepreneurial Value Proposition Communication
• Session 3 – February 17, 2026 (Virtual): Mastering Delivery & Executive Presence
• Session 4 – February 25, 2026 (In-Person): Pitch Practice & Showcase

In-person sessions will take place at the Gaines Park Community Center, located at 1501 N. Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Participants must attend at least three of the four sessions to receive a certificate of completion, and registration is currently open online. Space is limited, reflecting the city’s focus on providing an intimate and hands-on learning experience.

“This program is free to the public and designed to empower local entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed,” city officials said. By making the program accessible and cost-free, the city is demonstrating its ongoing commitment to strengthening small businesses and supporting professional growth within the community.

The series will be led by Dr. Deeawn Roundtree, CEO of Roundtree Training & Consulting, LLC. Dr. Roundtree is an experienced leadership coach, trainer, and speaker specializing in executive leadership development, communication strategy, and organizational growth. With her guidance, participants will gain practical techniques to refine their public speaking, develop a compelling value proposition, and project confidence and authority in front of audiences.

The curriculum is carefully designed to provide a comprehensive progression of skills. The first session focuses on foundational principles of public speaking, helping entrepreneurs build confidence and clarity in their communication. The second session, conducted virtually, emphasizes crafting a powerful and concise entrepreneurial value proposition that effectively communicates a business’s unique strengths.

The third session, also virtual, teaches participants how to master delivery and executive presence, essential components for leaders seeking to inspire their teams and clients. The program culminates with an in-person Pitch Practice & Showcase, where participants will apply their skills, present their ideas, and receive constructive feedback in a supportive environment.
