Broward County Public Schools hosts TIES Tech Night to showcase artificial intelligence and innovation in education
Broward County, Florida – Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is preparing to showcase the future of education technology with its upcoming T.I.E.S. Tech Night, an interactive districtwide event designed to explore artificial intelligence and innovation in teaching and learning. The event will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Atlantic Technical College’s Arthur Ashe Jr. Campus in Fort Lauderdale.
T.I.E.S., which stands for Technology, Innovation, Ethics, and Support, aims to provide educators, administrators, AI liaisons, coaches, and school leaders with hands-on opportunities to understand and apply emerging digital tools in the classroom. By bringing together a wide range of stakeholders—including parents and school leaders—the event is set to highlight practical AI applications, demonstrate innovative technology, and support best practices for implementing inclusive and effective tech strategies in schools.
“Tech Night is designed to give our schools and leaders the tools they need to use technology responsibly and effectively,” said a BCPS representative. “Our goal is to align hands-on experiences with District expectations while strengthening teaching and learning through emerging technologies.”
Attendees can expect interactive demonstrations and sessions that focus on ethical and strategic use of AI, digital learning tools, and supportive technology integration. By providing administrators and instructional leaders with guidance on implementing these tools, BCPS hopes to ensure that AI and other digital innovations enhance learning without compromising equity, ethics, or safety.
T.I.E.S. Tech Night reflects BCPS’s ongoing commitment to preparing students and educators for the evolving digital landscape. The event underscores the district’s strategic focus on integrating technology thoughtfully and responsibly, encouraging innovation while supporting educators in navigating the challenges and opportunities of AI in education.
The event promises to be a valuable platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development. It emphasizes that technology in education is not just about tools, but about creating experiences that enhance learning, foster creativity, and prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
For those interested in attending, T.I.E.S. Tech Night will be held at 1701 N.W. 23rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, offering two hours of immersive technology demonstrations, discussions, and networking for all participants invested in the future of learning.
