Davie, Florida – The Davie Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center will temporarily close its pool for essential repairs and maintenance, officials announced. The closure is scheduled to begin Monday, April 6, and continue through Sunday, April 19, 2026. During this period, residents and members will not have access to the aquatic facility, as the staff undertakes necessary work to maintain safety and operational standards.

The pool at 3800 SW 92nd Avenue has long been a popular spot for residents of Davie and surrounding areas, offering recreational swimming, exercise programs, and community events. In order to ensure the continued safety and enjoyment of all users, maintenance and repairs are required periodically. Town officials emphasized that the temporary closure is a standard procedure to prevent any safety hazards and to extend the pool’s service life.

“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize for any disruptions,” the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts department stated. While the pool will be unavailable, the Fitness Center at the facility will remain fully open and operational. Members are encouraged to make use of the gym and its state-of-the-art exercise equipment during the pool closure.
