Registration for 2025 summer camps in arts and sports is now open for children and teens in Pembroke Pines

Pembroke Pines, Florida – As summer approaches, families in Pembroke Pines can start planning exciting activities for their children with the launch of the 2025 Summer Camps registration. The City of Pembroke Pines is offering a variety of engaging camps, focusing on sports and the arts, to keep children active and creative during the summer break.

The summer programs will include Tennis and Pickleball, Soccer, and Art & Drama camps. Open to children ranging from ages 6 to 16, these camps aim to provide enriching experiences in a fun and structured environment. Early registration for city residents will begin on April 7, 2025, while non-residents can sign up starting April 21, 2025.

Tennis and Pickleball Summer Camp

The Tennis and Pickleball Summer Camp will run from June 9 through August 8, 2025, at the Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center, located at 10500 Taft Street. Open to boys and girls ages 6 to 16, campers can choose between half-day and full-day programs. The half-day session runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at a cost of $150 per week, while the full-day program extends until 6:00 p.m. for $275 per week. A one-time, nonrefundable registration fee of $25 per child applies. Due to limited spots, early registration is encouraged.

Soccer Summer Camp

For young athletes interested in soccer, the 2025 Soccer Summer Camp will also run from June 9 through August 8 at the West Pines Soccer Park, located at 350 SW 196 Avenue. Open to children ages 6 to 16, the camp offers both half-day and full-day programs. The half-day program is available for $175 per week, while the full-day program is priced at $275 per week. This camp provides an excellent opportunity for children to enhance their soccer skills in a structured and enjoyable setting. Additionally, students who are at least 15 years old and in the 9th grade can apply to volunteer at the camp to earn community service hours.

Art & Drama Summer Camp

For those with a passion for creativity, the Art & Drama Summer Camp will be held at the Pembroke Pines Art & Cultural Center, located at 901 NW 129 Avenue. Designed for children ages 6 to 12, this camp offers instruction in art and drama, along with swimming, field trips, outdoor activities, and team-building games. Space is limited, so early registration is highly recommended. Proof of residency and birth certificates are required for registration. The sessions for this camp are as follows:

• Art Camp (Ages 6-11):

o Session 1: June 9 – June 20
o Session 2: June 23 – July 4
o Session 3: July 7 – July 18
o Session 4: July 21 – August 1

• Drama Camp (Ages 8-12):

o Session 1: June 9 – July 4
o Session 2: July 7 – August 1
