Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Drivers in the area of SW 19th Street should prepare for a full road closure next week as sewer connection work is scheduled to take place between Tuesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 17. The closure will be in effect each day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The construction will occur near 3451 SW 19th Street and is part of necessary infrastructure improvements in the area. A detour will be set up to help guide drivers around the closure. Vehicles will be redirected via SW 35th Avenue, SW 20th Street, and SW 34th Avenue. Clear signage will be posted along the route to assist motorists in navigating the temporary changes safely and efficiently.

Officials are encouraging drivers to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time during the closure period. Alternate routes are recommended for non-local traffic to reduce congestion in the immediate area.
