Deerfield Beach, Florida – Two young girls who were reported missing from Deerfield Beach have been safely found and are now back home with their family, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit.

The girls, identified as 16-year-old Mang Cing and her 13-year-old cousin, Cin Cing, had last been seen on Friday, June 6. Authorities said their last known location was the 400 block of Jefferson Drive in Deerfield Beach. Following their disappearance, a missing persons alert was quickly issued on Saturday, prompting an urgent search.

By Saturday evening, thanks to the efforts of detectives and concerned community members, the two teenagers were located. Officials have not released details about where or how they were found but confirmed that both girls are safe and have been reunited with their family.

In a brief but reassuring statement, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said, “Mang Cing, 16, pictured above left, and her cousin, Cin Cing, 13, pictured above right, were safely located and reunited with family.”

The search sparked concern throughout the community as residents shared the missing persons alert across social media in hopes of spreading awareness. That public support, combined with the quick response of BSO detectives, played a key role in the successful outcome.

No foul play has been reported at this time, and authorities have not indicated whether the girls left voluntarily or became lost. The Sheriff’s Office has also not stated whether any further investigation will follow now that the teens are safe.

The successful resolution of this case serves as a reminder of the importance of community awareness and swift law enforcement action when a child goes missing. The Broward Sheriff’s Office regularly handles dozens of missing persons cases and encourages anyone with information in future cases to reach out without delay.

For now, the Cing family is simply grateful to have their daughters back home safe and sound.
