Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has officially announced a multi-year partnership with UKG, designating the company as its official human resources (HR), payroll, and workforce management technology provider. The collaboration, which aims to optimize the LPGA’s operations, is a significant step forward for both organizations. UKG will bring its cutting-edge workforce management solutions to the LPGA, empowering the association to streamline its internal operations, improve efficiency, and provide better experiences for employees and stakeholders alike.

As a global leader in HR technology, UKG’s innovative platform uses AI-driven data and insights to support businesses worldwide. With a client base that includes over 80,000 organizations, UKG’s technology creates efficient, engaging workplace environments. The LPGA will adopt UKG Ready®—a comprehensive suite designed to manage HR, payroll, and workforce operations. This suite will serve as a centralized hub for the LPGA’s nearly 200 employees located worldwide, helping the organization gather insights and streamline operations that affect staff, athletes, and overall guest experiences.

Liz Moore, the interim commissioner of the LPGA, expressed excitement about the new partnership. “The LPGA is proud to announce UKG as our official human resources, payroll, and workforce management technology partner,” Moore said. “In addition to being the number one workforce management provider in the world, UKG’s commitment to supporting the growth of women’s sports makes them the clear choice as our partner to support our people. We are excited to work with UKG and their cutting-edge solutions to propel the LPGA to new heights in business and in sports.”

This partnership marks a significant moment for the LPGA, particularly as it continues to work toward its mission of advancing women in sports. By integrating UKG’s technology, the LPGA will not only streamline its internal operations but also enhance its efforts to empower women both in business and on the golf course. The objectives of the partnership include providing exceptional employee experiences, increasing operational efficiency through real-time data, and creating a welcoming environment for women in golf and business.

The partnership’s goals also include enhancing brand awareness for the LPGA and strengthening relationships with current and potential UKG customers and stakeholders. By working with UKG, the LPGA is positioning itself to elevate its organizational efficiency, drive productivity, and maintain a positive workplace culture. Rachel Barger, president of go-to-market at UKG, emphasized the alignment between the two organizations, saying, “The LPGA has long been a beacon of empowerment for women in sports, showcasing their talent, resilience, and leadership on a global stage – and we share that same commitment to fostering environments where everyone can thrive.”

One of the significant advantages of UKG’s technology is its ability to manage the complexities of a professional sports organization. With the LPGA’s employees spread across 29 states, the technology will help ensure compliance with various labor laws and tax regulations. The UKG Ready suite will automate various aspects of the employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to payroll management and performance tracking. This will save the LPGA valuable time and resources, allowing it to focus more on its core mission of empowering women and growing the sport of golf.

In addition to these capabilities, UKG Bryte™ AI will offer personalized workforce insights and conversational reporting, enabling the LPGA to make data-driven decisions. The UKG Great Place To Work® Hub will also allow the organization to measure employee sentiment and gather actionable insights to help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.

Samantha Simmons, the chief people and internal operations officer at the LPGA, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership’s potential impact. “We’re thrilled about the transformative impact UKG will have on the LPGA and our employee experience,” said Simmons. “UKG technology not only aligns with our goals of being a worldwide leader in sports and a top employer of choice, but this partnership also represents a monumental step forward in our commitment to taking care of the people who support our athletes, members, tournaments, and fans worldwide.”

UKG’s advanced tools will ensure that the LPGA can remain at the forefront of HR technology, making it easier for the association to manage its workforce and optimize operations across all areas.

As both organizations look toward the future, this partnership is expected to serve as a model for how technology can drive organizational success while empowering people both on and off the field.
