Pine Crest school students shine at the 2025 Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference in Orlando

Pine Crest, Florida – Pine Crest School’s Middle and Upper School students recently showcased their talents at the highly anticipated 2025 Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference held in Orlando, Florida. This year’s event brought together over 10,000 students from across the United States, as well as participants from countries like Turkey, Korea, and Germany. Pine Crest students earned their place at this prestigious conference after excelling at the Florida state-wide TSA competition earlier this year in February.
The teams of nine Middle School students and 29 Upper School students competed across various science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) categories. With such a large and diverse field of participants, the stakes were high, but Pine Crest students more than held their own, securing numerous accolades.
In the Middle School division, five teams earned top 10 honors in multiple events. These students excelled in diverse categories ranging from engineering challenges to video production. The Construction Challenge team earned seventh place, while the Mass Production team secured ninth. The Community Service Video team took home an impressive third place, highlighting the importance of using technology for social good. In addition, the Leadership Strategies team placed fifth, and the Medical Technologies team earned sixth, showcasing the students’ diverse talents and ability to excel in both theoretical and applied STEM disciplines.
Meanwhile, in the Upper School division, the competition was fierce, but Pine Crest’s students continued to shine. One standout performance came from the team that participated in the Forensic Science event, which secured first place nationally. This remarkable achievement demonstrated the students’ expertise in applying scientific knowledge to real-world investigative challenges. Additionally, Pine Crest’s Board Game Design team received fourth place, and the Fashion Design and Technology team earned eighth place, further adding to the school’s impressive showing at the conference.
These accolades reflect not only the hard work and dedication of the students but also the commitment of Pine Crest School’s teachers and staff in fostering an environment where students can excel in STEM fields. The TSA National Conference provided students with an invaluable opportunity to put their skills to the test while learning from their peers and industry professionals.
“We are extremely proud of all our students who competed at the TSA National Conference,” said a representative from Pine Crest School. “The conference allowed them to apply the skills they’ve honed throughout the year and gain recognition on a national level for their hard work and creativity.”
As the Pine Crest students return from this extraordinary experience, they carry with them not only medals and trophies but also lasting memories and a deeper passion for STEM subjects. Their achievements at the TSA National Conference serve as a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and ability to solve complex problems creatively.
In the coming years, these students will undoubtedly continue to push the boundaries of innovation, making a significant impact in their communities and beyond. Pine Crest School’s ongoing commitment to excellence in education, particularly in the STEM fields, ensures that its students are well-equipped for future success.
