Pembroke Pines, Florida – The City of Pembroke Pines is preparing to welcome residents to a brand-new gathering space with the grand opening of the Dream Park Community Center on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The highly anticipated event will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 1700 NW 160th Avenue, located within Spring Valley and the William B. Armstrong Dream Park.

Festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m., marking the official debut of the center. Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries while taking in live music and entertainment. Families will find plenty to keep children engaged, with hands-on kids’ activities and opportunities to explore the new playground. The event also promises giveaways and a chance for visitors to stroll along the newly built passive walking path—a scenic addition designed to encourage outdoor recreation.
