Pompano Beach, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl from Pompano Beach. Stella Mitchell was last seen early in the morning on August 22 near the 900 block of Northeast Third Street. Authorities are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

Mitchell is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 124 pounds, with blue hair and blue eyes. At the time she went missing, she was reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black backpack. Her distinctive appearance, including her blue hair, makes her especially recognizable to the public.

BSO detectives are actively investigating her disappearance and are appealing to the community for assistance. “We are asking anyone who may have seen Stella or has information about her to contact Detective Chris Blankenship as soon as possible,” officials said, emphasizing the urgency of locating the young girl.
