Kool & the Gang will bring their legendary hits to ArtsPark in Hollywood for a free Centennial Celebration concert on Saturday November 22

Hollywood, Florida – Fans of timeless grooves and classic hits have reason to celebrate as Kool & the Gang brings its legendary sound to ArtsPark on Saturday, November 22. The iconic band, known for unforgettable songs like Celebration, Get Down on It, and Jungle Boogie, will headline a FREE concert as part of the City of Hollywood’s Centennial Celebration. The event promises a night of music, fun, and community excitement for residents and visitors alike.

The three-day Centennial Celebration kicks off on Thursday, November 20, at the Hollywood Beach Bandshell with a free concert, giveaways, and a festive atmosphere honoring 100 years of Hollywood history. Friday, November 21, will feature the City’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at ArtsPark from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a special appearance from a certain visitor from the North Pole to delight kids and families.

Saturday, November 22, marks the highlight of the celebration, as Kool & the Gang takes the stage at ArtsPark from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Opening the evening will be the Dreamland Orchestra, warming up the crowd and setting the tone for an unforgettable night. “We are thrilled to welcome Kool & the Gang to ArtsPark for our Centennial Celebration,” said a City spokesperson. “Their music spans generations and perfectly captures the joy and energy we want to bring to this milestone year.”

Attendees can expect more than just a concert. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a variety of activities across the park, including a classic car show, interactive giveaways, and other surprises to celebrate the City’s 100-year history. Families and friends are encouraged to come early to enjoy the full range of entertainment and experiences offered throughout the evening.

The Centennial Celebration also includes a series of special events throughout the fall, including Hollywierd, the Veteran’s Day Barbecue at TY Park, the Annual Hollywood Cardboard Boat Race, and the Candy Cane Parade.
