Hollywood, Florida – Residents will have the chance to learn more about the proposed Orangebrook Golf Course Redevelopment P3 Project during a public event on Wednesday, November 12, at the David Park Community Center. The redevelopment team, known as the PPG GCF Orangebrook Redevelopment Team, will meet with community members from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and again from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to share project details, listen to feedback, and answer questions.

The City of Hollywood has encouraged residents, business owners, and golf enthusiasts to attend the sessions, which are designed to promote transparency and community engagement throughout the planning process. The project aims to modernize the existing Orangebrook Golf Course facilities while maintaining the site’s legacy as a popular recreational destination.

City officials and members of the redevelopment team will be on hand to provide updates on the proposed design, discuss sustainability goals, and outline how the project could enhance both the golf experience and the surrounding neighborhood. The meeting format will be informal, allowing residents to stop by at their convenience and have direct conversations with the planners and City staff.

Adding to the day’s discussions, a separate meeting regarding the Emerald Hills Golf Course redevelopment will also take place at the David Park Community Center during the same hours. Although not a City of Hollywood project, the Emerald Hills redevelopment involves the same architectural firm and attorney. To make the process more efficient for residents interested in both initiatives, organizers decided to hold both meetings simultaneously, with the community center divided into two areas for concurrent sessions.

By hosting these meetings together, the development teams hope to encourage open dialogue and make it easier for residents to gather information about both redevelopment efforts in one location.

City leaders emphasize that public input plays a vital role in shaping the future of local recreation spaces and ensuring redevelopment projects align with community priorities. Residents are encouraged to bring their questions, share their concerns, and learn more about how these projects could influence the future of golf and green space in the area.

For those who wish to stay involved, updates about the Orangebrook Golf Course Redevelopment Project will continue to be shared through the City’s official channels following the November 12 meetings.
