Cabo, who purchased his winning ticket from Walmart at 6225 E. State Road 64 in Bradenton, opted to receive his winnings as a lump-sum payout of $7,752,000. The $20 game offers over $225 million in total cash prizes, with four top prizes of $10,000 a week for life. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.96, giving players a substantial chance to strike it big.
Earlier in the month, Shuangjie Fan, 31, of Wellington, captured the $5,000 a week for life top prize from the $5,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game. Fan claimed her winnings at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office on July 2, choosing a one-time lump-sum payment of $3,897,000. She purchased her ticket from Wellington Marathon at 2741 S. State Road 7 in Wellington. The $10 game boasts over $158 million in total cash prizes and four top prizes of $5,000 a week for life, with overall odds of winning at 1 in 3.30.
Miami also saw its share of winners this month. Juan Bonilla, 48, of Miami, claimed the $2 million top prize from the SILVER STREAK Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters on July 7. Bonilla purchased his ticket from Exprezo at 1901 N.W. 54th St. in Miami and selected a lump-sum payout of $1,195,000. The $10 SILVER STREAK game, which launched in September 2024, features four top prizes of $2 million and 358 prizes of $10,000, offering over $104 million in total cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.44.
The West Palm Beach District Office also celebrated another winner when Tricia Richardson Roberts, 46, of Lauderhill, claimed a $1,000 a week for life top prize from the $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game on July 14. Richardson Roberts purchased her ticket at Publix at 550 N. Pine Island Road in Plantation and chose a one-time payout of $779,200. The $2 game features four top prizes of $1,000 a week for life and over $30 million in total cash prizes, with overall odds of winning 1 in 4.19.
