The 2025 BCPS Showcase will be held on Tuesday, December 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, providing a vibrant, hands-on opportunity to explore more than 200 schools throughout the A-rated district.
The event is geared toward families looking to make informed decisions before the School Choice window closes on December 19, 2025. Attendees will have the chance to speak directly with school administrators, teachers, and program representatives from elementary, middle, and high schools. This personal interaction allows families to discover programs that align with students’ unique interests, from gifted education to technical and career-focused offerings.
“Every BCPS school will be represented, showcasing their offerings and school pride,” said a district spokesperson. “Attendees will be able to speak directly with school administrators and staff from all grade levels, as well as with representatives from District departments and specialized programs, including Magnet Programs, Nova schools, Career and Technical Education, College Academy at Broward College, Gifted Academy and more.”
The showcase highlights BCPS’s commitment to providing diverse educational opportunities, emphasizing both academic excellence and the development of individual student interests. Families can explore exhibits, ask questions, and gain insights into programs designed to prepare students for success in college, careers, and beyond.
This event also offers a unique chance to learn about the district’s specialized programs, such as Magnet Programs that focus on arts, science, and technology, Nova schools with innovative learning approaches, and the College Academy at Broward College, which allows high school students to earn college credits. Career and Technical Education programs and the Gifted Academy further demonstrate the district’s dedication to meeting the needs of every student.
BCPS encourages families to take advantage of this one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect with school staff and explore the district’s offerings before the school choice deadline. For more information, visit browardschools.com/bcpsshowcase.
