Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Authorities are offering up to $25,000 for information that could help solve the recent mass shooting in Fort Lauderdale that sent five people to the hospital early Sunday morning.

Fort Lauderdale police announced the reward Thursday, aiming to gather tips that could lead to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in the shooting, which occurred around 2 a.m. on the 100 block of Southwest Third Avenue. Fortunately, all five victims have since been released from the hospital, according to police reports.

“We urge anyone with information to come forward,” a police spokesperson said. Tips can be submitted in multiple ways, including written statements, photos, or videos, through a dedicated website set up by the FBI’s Miami office. Broward Crime Stoppers had already offered $5,000 for information, which now adds to the total reward. Individuals can also contact Broward Crime Stoppers online or call 954-493-8477 (TIPS).

The shooting remains under investigation, and authorities say they have no confirmed leads regarding the shooter or shooters. Officers on the scene reported that the suspects had left the area before police arrived, leaving investigators to rely on witness accounts and any evidence collected at the site.

The announcement of the increased reward comes as the FBI joins local law enforcement in the case, highlighting the seriousness of the investigation. Police officials stressed that tips from the public are crucial in helping identify those responsible and ensuring they face justice.

Residents in the area expressed concern over the incident but said they were relieved that no one remained hospitalized. “It’s frightening to know something like this can happen so close to home,” said a local business owner near the scene. “We hope someone comes forward so the community feels safe again.”

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department, along with the FBI and Broward Crime Stoppers, continues to encourage the community to stay alert and share any information that might bring clarity to the case and hold the perpetrators accountable.
