Authorities offer up to $25,000 for information that could solve Fort Lauderdale mass shooting case

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Authorities are offering up to $25,000 for information that could help solve the recent mass shooting in Fort Lauderdale that sent five people to the hospital early Sunday morning.

Fort Lauderdale police announced the reward Thursday, aiming to gather tips that could lead to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in the shooting, which occurred around 2 a.m. on the 100 block of Southwest Third Avenue. Fortunately, all five victims have since been released from the hospital, according to police reports.

“We urge anyone with information to come forward,” a police spokesperson said. Tips can be submitted in multiple ways, including written statements, photos, or videos, through a dedicated website set up by the FBI’s Miami office. The shooting remains under investigation, and authorities say they have no confirmed leads regarding the shooter or shooters.
