Broward County, Florida – Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking the public’s help in locating 38-year-old Michael Henry, who has been reported missing from Deerfield Beach. Authorities say Henry was last seen on Wednesday, January 7, around 5:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Southeast 10th Street.

Henry is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a grey shirt, red shorts, yellow sandals, and a yellow hat. Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen him or knows of his current whereabouts to come forward.

“Anyone with information on Henry’s whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357),” authorities said. Law enforcement officials emphasize that timely tips can be crucial in missing person cases and encourage the public to remain alert.

The search for Henry is ongoing, and BSO detectives are actively following leads. Residents in the area are being asked to check surveillance footage, recent interactions, or any sightings that could help law enforcement locate him. Authorities are also reminding the public to remain cautious and to contact law enforcement directly rather than attempting to approach Henry on their own.

Missing persons cases like Henry’s often rely heavily on community cooperation. Detectives say even small pieces of information can make a difference in locating someone quickly and safely. The BSO is treating this case with priority, working alongside deputies, local agencies, and community members to bring Henry home.

As the investigation continues, BSO officials urge anyone with information to call immediately, noting that all calls and tips are handled confidentially. Law enforcement also asks residents to remain vigilant in their neighborhoods and to report anything unusual that could assist in the search.

Authorities hope that by publicizing Henry’s description and last known location, someone in the community may recognize him and provide the lead needed to ensure his safe return. Efforts are ongoing, and the BSO is committed to exhausting all avenues to find him.
