Hollywood, Florida – The City of Hollywood has officially announced the reopening of the newly renovated Hollywood Beach Golf Club, marking a major milestone for one of the city’s most well-known recreational spaces. After months of upgrades and construction, the facility is now open to the public and ready to welcome both local residents and visiting golf enthusiasts.

The project is part of the city’s voter-approved General Obligation Bond initiative, which aims to improve key public infrastructure and community assets. In this case, the investment focused on District 1 and resulted in a fully redesigned 18-hole golf course paired with upgraded facilities intended to enhance the overall visitor experience.

At the heart of the renovation is a brand-new clubhouse. The modern facility includes a pro shop, dining area, and flexible meeting space, creating a central hub for players and guests. Supporting infrastructure has also been improved, including a renovated maintenance building, a new cart barn, updated signage, and expanded parking areas to better accommodate increased activity.

Beyond the clubhouse, the golf course itself has undergone significant changes. Several holes were re-aligned to fit the new layout, ensuring smoother flow between sections of the course. A new irrigation system was installed to improve turf quality and sustainability, while concrete cart paths were added for easier movement across the grounds.

Additional upgrades include enhanced landscaping throughout the property, mid-course restroom facilities for convenience, and new fencing to improve safety and organization around the course perimeter. Together, these improvements aim to provide a more comfortable and modern playing environment.

City officials expressed enthusiasm about the reopening, highlighting the golf club as a key public asset for the community. The upgraded facility is expected to serve both experienced golfers and newcomers, offering a refreshed space for recreation, leisure, and social connection.

With its combination of updated design, improved functionality, and expanded services, the Hollywood Beach Golf Club reopens not just as a golf course, but as a renewed community destination.
