West Palm Beach, Florida – Small business owners and entrepreneurs in West Palm Beach will soon have an opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence can become a practical business tool rather than just a technology trend. The City of West Palm Beach, working alongside Fix My Flyer, is bringing back its Prompt to Profit AI Workshop for a second year, offering participants hands-on training focused on using AI to improve business performance.

The free two-part workshop is designed to give business owners and professionals practical skills they can immediately apply in their day-to-day operations. Rather than concentrating on the technical side of artificial intelligence, the program will show attendees how AI can simplify routine tasks, improve marketing efforts, create professional business materials, and support long-term business growth.

City officials say the workshop reflects West Palm Beach’s continued investment in helping local businesses succeed through education, innovation, and access to emerging technologies. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly common across industries, organizers hope local entrepreneurs will gain the confidence to incorporate these tools into their own businesses.

The workshop will be led by Krissy Robbs, CEO of Fix My Flyer, a creative design and marketing consulting company recognized for its work in strategic branding, print marketing, and business development. Robbs will guide participants through interactive exercises intended to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can support both new and established businesses.

The first session is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Mandel Public Library, located at 411 Clematis Street in West Palm Beach.

During the opening workshop, participants will concentrate on AI prompting and content creation. The session will explain how carefully written prompts can produce stronger AI-generated responses and better results. Business owners will also learn how to transform ideas into useful marketing materials that can help promote their companies more effectively.

By the end of the evening, attendees are expected to have a better understanding of how artificial intelligence can assist with creating promotional content while saving time on everyday business tasks.

The second session will take place one week later, on Monday, Aug. 24, at the same location and during the same evening hours.

That workshop will shift attention toward proposals, business documentation, and strategic planning. Participants will explore how AI tools can assist in preparing professional proposals, drafting business documents, organizing information, and creating materials that support future business growth.

Organizers say both sessions are designed to build practical skills that participants can continue using after the workshops conclude.

In addition to content creation and document development, the training will examine several important topics surrounding the responsible use of artificial intelligence in business.

Attendees will learn about copyright ownership issues involving AI-generated content, ethical and legal considerations when using generative AI, and methods for selecting the most appropriate AI platforms for different business needs. The program will also address common branding and design mistakes that frequently appear in AI-generated marketing materials and explain how businesses can avoid them.

Unlike seminars that focus mainly on presentations, Prompt to Profit emphasizes participation. Throughout both sessions, attendees will actively work with AI tools while receiving guidance from instructors. Organizers say the interactive format is intended to help participants gain confidence using artificial intelligence in real business situations.

Each participant is expected to leave with ready-to-use marketing content, business documents, and practical resources that can immediately be incorporated into their organizations.

The workshop is open to anyone 18 years of age or older who owns, operates, or supports a business. Previous experience with artificial intelligence is not required, making the sessions suitable for beginners as well as business owners who have already experimented with AI tools.

There is no cost to attend the workshop, although advance registration is required because space is limited. Registered participants will also receive validated parking during both sessions at the Mandel Public Library.

City leaders view the workshop as another step in strengthening West Palm Beach’s entrepreneurial community by providing access to valuable educational resources. As technology continues to reshape how companies communicate with customers, manage operations, and compete in the marketplace, programs like Prompt to Profit aim to ensure local businesses are prepared to take advantage of those changes.

By combining practical instruction with real-world business applications, the City of West Palm Beach and Fix My Flyer hope participants will leave not only with a better understanding of artificial intelligence, but also with useful tools that can help their businesses become more productive, innovative, and competitive in the years ahead.

Business owners seeking additional information about the workshop can contact Sandra Hammerstein with the City’s Office of Small Business Programs by email at [email protected] or by phone at 561-822-1273.
