Pine Crest, Florida – Pine Crest School student-athlete Harper Kiss ’31 has reached a new milestone in her young golf career, finishing second at the U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championship and recording her best result yet in the international competition.

Kiss, who is 13 years old, competed against talented junior golfers from around the world during the championship. Her runner-up finish placed her among the leading young players in her age group and ranks her as the No. 2 13-year-old golfer in the world.

The result represents a significant achievement for Kiss, particularly because the Teen World Championship brings together some of the strongest junior golfers from different countries. Players compete against others in their respective age divisions, creating a highly competitive field for young athletes.

For Kiss, the second-place finish is her highest placing at the international event to date. Reaching the podium in such a competition gives her another notable accomplishment as she continues to develop both as a student and as a golfer.

Junior golf competitions can provide young players with an opportunity to test their skills against opponents they may not regularly face in local or regional events. The international nature of the U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championship makes the experience even more demanding, with competitors coming together from different parts of the world.
