Dania Beach Art Week to bring together artists, galleries, musicians and creative businesses for a citywide celebration

Dania Beach, Florida – Dania Beach will put its artistic side in the spotlight this fall as the city prepares for a weeklong celebration bringing together artists, galleries, musicians, creative businesses and cultural organizations.

Dania Beach Art Week is scheduled for September 27 through October 3, 2026, with events taking place at locations throughout the city. Presented in collaboration with the City of Dania Beach and the Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, the celebration is designed to highlight the talent, creativity and cultural diversity already present in the community.

Rather than focusing on a single location or one type of art, the event will spread across multiple venues and offer a wide variety of activities. Residents and visitors will have opportunities to see exhibitions, listen to live music, take part in workshops and interactive experiences, and meet artists involved in the local creative scene.

“We invite everyone to Dania Beach Art Week to explore, connect and celebrate creativity in all its forms. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, a family looking for weekend activities, a student discovering the arts, or someone simply curious to experience something new, there’s something for everyone,” said Dania Beach City Manager Candido Sosa-Cruz, executive director of the Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.

The schedule will include gallery exhibitions, artist demonstrations, educational workshops, public art and mural installations. There will also be wellness experiences and activities designed with families in mind, giving people different ways to participate whether they are longtime supporters of the arts or simply looking for something different to do.

One of the highlights will be the “Gallery Hop” evenings. The events will encourage people to move between Dania Beach’s creative spaces, visit participating galleries and meet local artists. The format also gives visitors a chance to discover different parts of the city’s arts community instead of experiencing everything in one place.

Organizers say the goal is not simply to display artwork. They want the week to create connections between artists, businesses, residents and visitors while giving local creative organizations an opportunity to reach new audiences.

“We believe the arts have the power to bring people together,” said Haena Chen Bitton, founder of Bitton Art Gallery and one of the organizers of Dania Beach Art Week. “Our vision is to create a week where every gallery, artist, creative business and cultural organization has the opportunity to shine. By working together with the City of Dania Beach and the Dania Beach CRA, we’re creating meaningful experiences that celebrate creativity, strengthen our community, attract visitors and support local businesses.”

A number of local organizations are taking part in the citywide celebration. Participating groups include Bitton Art Gallery, MAD Arts, Lux Neon Art Gallery, Gasper Arts, Comfort for Chaos Art Studio, The Collective at Dania Beach, C Gallery and The Creative Workshop. Additional community partners are also contributing to the program.

For Dania Beach, the event also provides an opportunity to introduce visitors to the city beyond its art venues. The community is located in South Florida and is within reach of Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, making it accessible to people from several parts of the region.

Visitors coming for Art Week can explore galleries and exhibitions while also discovering local restaurants, businesses and creative entrepreneurs. The event is expected to bring attention to the broader community and the people and businesses that help shape its character.

The celebration reflects the variety of creative activity taking place in Dania Beach and gives those groups a chance to be part of one larger event. With activities planned throughout the week, organizers hope residents and visitors will have plenty of opportunities to explore, participate and connect.
