Tallahassee, Florida – A lucky Marion County woman is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s MONOPOLY™ SECRET VAULT Scratch-Off game. Sarah Mallory, 57, of Ocklawaha, secured the massive prize after purchasing a $5 ticket, turning a small investment into a fortune.

Mallory made her way to the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, where she officially claimed her winnings. She opted for a one-time lump-sum payout of $576,900, ensuring she could enjoy her prize immediately.

The winning ticket was purchased at Belleview Food Store, located at 10015 E. Highway 25 in Belleview. As part of the celebration, the retailer also received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky Scratch-Off ticket.

In an interesting twist of fate, Mallory revealed that a small, seemingly insignificant sign encouraged her and her husband to buy the ticket that changed their lives. “As we pulled into the store, we noticed a shiny dime had landed on heads underneath our Harley. My husband and I enjoy collecting dimes, and that symbol changed everything, encouraging us to buy a ticket,” she shared.

The MONOPOLY SECRET VAULT Scratch-Off game has proven to be an exciting opportunity for Florida players, offering substantial cash prizes. The $5 game boasts overall odds of 1-in-3.95, with a total prize pool of $132 million. Among the potential rewards, six top prizes of $1 million await lucky winners, along with more than 9.5 million winning tickets spread throughout the game.

Scratch-Off games continue to be a significant part of the Florida Lottery, generating excitement and making dreams come true for players across the state. The Lottery’s various instant-win games contribute to funding education, benefiting students and schools throughout Florida.

The MONOPOLY brand, a longtime favorite among game enthusiasts, brings an extra layer of excitement to the Florida Lottery. The MONOPOLY name and logo, along with its iconic game board elements and the beloved Mr. MONOPOLY character, remain trademarks of Hasbro, the company responsible for the classic property-trading game.

Mallory’s story serves as a reminder that luck can strike at any moment, and sometimes, even the smallest signs can lead to life-changing opportunities. With her newfound fortune, she now has the chance to plan her future in a way she may have never imagined before stepping into Belleview Food Store that fateful day.

As the Florida Lottery continues to bring thrilling opportunities to players, stories like Mallory’s inspire hopeful ticket buyers to try their luck. Whether it’s a simple Scratch-Off ticket or a major jackpot draw, one thing is certain—someone has to win, and the next lucky player could be just around the corner.
