Hollywood, Florida – The City of Hollywood is excited to announce the launch of its new social media campaign, the “Hollywood Brag Bench,” which aims to showcase the heart and soul of the community through the voices of its residents and visitors. The campaign invites everyone to take a seat on the iconic Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and share what they love most about the city—whether it’s the natural beauty of Hollywood Beach, the dynamic arts and culture scene, the welcoming neighborhoods, or any other aspect that makes Hollywood special.

The concept behind the Hollywood Brag Bench is simple yet powerful: one bench, countless stories. The idea is to create a space where people can speak from the heart, sharing their unique perspectives and fond memories of Hollywood. From longtime residents to first-time visitors, everyone is encouraged to contribute their thoughts, creating a vibrant and diverse collection of voices that reflect the true essence of the city.

The campaign made its debut with a fantastic turnout on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, where dozens of locals and tourists eagerly participated. People from all walks of life stepped up to the bench, offering heartfelt stories and highlighting their favorite aspects of the city. The response has been overwhelming, far surpassing the city’s expectations.

Videos of the interviews will be shared across the City of Hollywood’s social media platforms, giving a platform to the community members who live, work, and visit the city. These videos will give Hollywood residents the opportunity to tell their stories, from their favorite places to the people who make this city feel like home. The public is encouraged to like and share these videos using the hashtag #HollywoodBragBench to help spread the word and show their support for the community.

The Brag Bench initiative is part of the City’s larger Centennial Celebration, a year-long event that commemorates Hollywood’s history and growth. It also ties into the city’s ongoing #OurHollywood storytelling campaign, which encourages residents to share their personal connections to Hollywood. Through this initiative, the city aims to create a lasting record of what makes Hollywood a unique and vibrant place to live and visit.

“We want to make sure that the voices of the people who love Hollywood are heard,” said city officials. “This campaign is about celebrating the people who make our city what it is. Everyone has a story to share, and we can’t wait to hear from you!”

For those who missed the Brag Bench on Hollywood Beach, keep an eye out for the bench in other locations around the city. You might just find it near your favorite spot, ready for you to share your Hollywood story.
