Pompano Beach to hold budget presentation and workshop on July 14 to discuss Fiscal Year 2026 budget and related matters

Pompano Beach, Florida – The City of Pompano Beach is set to hold an important Budget Presentation and Workshop on Monday, July 14th, at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place in the City Commission Chambers, located at 100 West Atlantic Boulevard. This workshop provides a valuable opportunity for residents to engage with the city’s budget planning process for the upcoming fiscal year.

The session will kick off with a detailed presentation on the recommended Fiscal Year 2026 budget. City officials will walk through the proposed budget, offering insights into projected revenues, expenditures, and priorities for the year ahead. Following the presentation, members of the public will have the chance to provide their input, ensuring that community concerns are heard and considered as the city finalizes its budgetary plans.

After the public input session, the City Commission will take a 30-minute recess. Following this break, the workshop will resume in the Cultural Center Conference Room, located on the 1st floor at 50 West Atlantic Boulevard. During this segment of the workshop, the Commission will focus on several key financial topics, including discussions on the FY 2026 recommended Millage Rates, which determine the property tax rate for the city. Additionally, the workshop will cover capital improvement projects, which are crucial for maintaining and enhancing the city’s infrastructure, as well as Fire Assessment Fees, and other elements of the overall budget.

This budget presentation and workshop are essential for residents who wish to understand the city’s financial plans and how public funds will be allocated. The session is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to participate and share their opinions on the proposed budget and related matters.
