Sunrise, Florida – South Florida residents have a reason to mark their calendars this fall as the Sunrise Amphitheater prepares to welcome the community back with a grand re-opening on Saturday, October 4th. Located at 10770 West Oakland Park Boulevard, the event promises an evening of entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a chance to experience one of the area’s newest open-air concert venues.

The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m., with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 6:00 p.m., setting the stage for an energetic evening. Organizers are inviting guests of all ages to enjoy live music, food, and giveaways, creating an atmosphere of celebration and community connection. “We are thrilled to re-open the Sunrise Amphitheater and offer residents a space where music, culture, and community come together,” said a spokesperson for the city.

Attendees can look forward to a high-energy performance by Gypsy Lane Band, whose stage presence is expected to get the crowd dancing under the stars. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to make the most of the evening while enjoying the music and festivities. In addition, a roaming photo booth will allow families and friends to capture memories throughout the night.

The combination of music, food, and community engagement is designed to make the grand re-opening more than just a concert—it’s an opportunity to reconnect with neighbors and celebrate the city’s commitment to accessible, vibrant outdoor entertainment.

The Sunrise Amphitheater, alongside the City Park Amphitheater, has become an essential hub for local performances, cultural events, and theatrical presentations. Organizers are also teasing upcoming announcements for the 2025-26 season of the popular Tunes ‘N Trucks concert series, promising continued engagement and entertainment for the community.
