UKG named a leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for HCM suites serving large enterprises
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – UKG has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for HCM Suites for 1,000+ Employee Enterprises, a recognition based on the company’s Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.
The recognition comes as organizations continue to look for ways to manage increasingly complex workforces while keeping human resources, payroll and workforce management connected. UKG describes its Workforce Operating Platform as an AI-first platform designed to help organizations manage these areas and give HR leaders a broader view of what is happening across their workforce.
More than 80,000 organizations in more than 150 countries rely on the UKG Workforce Operating Platform, according to the company. For chief human resources officers, the platform is intended to connect HCM strategies with the realities faced by employees working in different roles, locations and shifts.
The company says this approach can help organizations respond to changing workforce needs, improve productivity and support stronger business performance. A key part of the platform is its focus on workforce intelligence, bringing together information that can help leaders understand both business needs and employee experiences.
“UKG gives us a single source of global workforce intelligence by unifying workforce data, employee feedback, and business insights,” said Carl Enchelmayer, Director of Human Resources and U.S. Facilities at Afni, a global business process outsourcing (BPO) company with more than 10,000 employees globally. “The real-time workforce intelligence tools from UKG help us better understand our employees, improve engagement, and focus on retention.”

UKG’s approach includes several tools aimed at making everyday workforce tasks easier, particularly for employees and managers on the front lines. The company says these products are designed to connect broader HR strategies with what is actually happening during daily operations.
One of those tools is UKG Bryte™ Voice, which UKG describes as the HCM industry’s first voice-enabled AI designed specifically for frontline workers. It allows employees to complete workforce-related actions using natural language with Siri® or Google Assistant™, potentially allowing them to handle tasks without stepping away from their work.
Another component is the UKG® Workforce Intelligence Hub. The system brings together real-time workforce information and frontline insights in a single data model covering HR, pay and workforce management. The company says this gives leaders a more consistent view of their workforce and can support faster operational decisions.
UKG Dynamic Workforce Operations is designed to act as a real-time control center for frontline leaders. It connects workforce information with demand signals and is intended to help managers make decisions throughout a shift as conditions change.
Hiring is another area covered by the platform. UKG Rapid Hire is an AI-guided, mobile-first solution created for high-volume frontline hiring. According to UKG, it can automate up to 90% of repetitive hiring tasks, helping organizations move more quickly from identifying a staffing need to filling a shift.
The company says these capabilities reflect a broader effort to make artificial intelligence useful in practical workforce situations rather than treating it as a separate technology layer.
“As frontline work becomes more complex, organizations need to align workforce strategy with day-to-day execution,” said Suresh Vittal, Chief Product Officer at UKG. “UKG helps organizations connect enterprise priorities to frontline realities with the data, AI and workforce intelligence needed to make better decisions and deliver stronger business outcomes.”
The Gartner recognition places UKG among the Leaders in the 2026 Magic Quadrant for HCM Suites for 1,000+ Employee Enterprises. For UKG, the recognition comes at a time when businesses are increasingly focused on connecting workforce data, artificial intelligence and everyday operations.
The company’s platform is aimed at giving HR leaders and frontline managers a shared view of workforce information while helping employees complete common tasks more efficiently. With organizations operating across different locations, schedules and job functions, UKG is positioning workforce intelligence and AI as tools that can help bridge the gap between long-term workforce strategy and the demands of daily work.
