Detectives are urgently searching for a missing 68-year-old man from Pompano Beach after he was last seen in the afternoon hours on June 25
Pompano Beach, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Missing Persons Unit is actively searching for a 68-year-old man, Lawrence Milano, who went missing from Pompano Beach on Wednesday, June 25. Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Milano, who was last seen around 12:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Avenue.
Milano is described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 208 pounds. He has long white hair and blue eyes, and he uses a wheelchair for mobility. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. Milano is also known to have multiple tattoos on his arms, which could help in identifying him.
According to staff at the facility where Milano resides, he experiences mental illness, which may affect his ability to seek help or navigate unfamiliar areas. This could present additional challenges in locating him quickly.
BSO detectives are urging anyone with information about Milano’s whereabouts to come forward. They are asking that anyone who may have seen him or has knowledge of his location contact Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274. Additionally, tips can be reported to the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is hoping the community can help bring Milano home safely. Authorities are stressing the importance of public vigilance as they continue their search.
