West Palm Beach City Hall, Mandel Public Library, and Grassy Waters Nature Center will be closed for Fourth of July holiday celebrations

West Palm Beach, Floria – In observance of Independence Day, the City of West Palm Beach has announced the closure of several key public facilities on Friday, July 4, 2025. City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will all remain closed as part of the celebrations for the nation’s 249th birthday.

While City Hall and the Grassy Waters Nature Center will not be open to the public, the Mandel Public Library will reopen promptly at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025. However, residents are reminded that City Hall and the Grassy Waters Nature Center will not open until 8 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Despite the facility closures, the city will maintain its regular trash and garbage collection schedule on July 4, ensuring that residents’ waste disposal needs are met during the holiday.

The closure of these public offices coincides with the city’s highly anticipated Fourth of July celebration, “4th on Flagler.” The event, which runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., will be held along the picturesque waterfront. The community is invited to join in the festivities, which will feature family-friendly activities, food, music, and of course, a spectacular fireworks display.

Visitors planning to attend the event are advised that special parking rates will apply in the City’s parking garages, so be sure to plan ahead.

This year’s Fourth of July celebrations are expected to draw a large crowd, offering a vibrant opportunity for locals and visitors alike to gather and enjoy the holiday in the heart of West Palm Beach.
