Wolf Lake Park trail reopens following infrastructure upgrades by Florida Power and Light

Davie, Florida – The popular Wolf Lake Park Trail, located at 5400 Southwest 76th Avenue, is now open to the public following essential infrastructure upgrades to the power lines by Florida Power and Light (FPL). The trail, which had been closed for a period of time to accommodate these improvements, is once again available for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy.
The reopening of the trail offers both locals and visitors the opportunity to explore the park’s scenic surroundings, with the added benefit of a safer and more reliable power infrastructure. Wolf Lake Park, which is known for its tranquil natural beauty, provides an ideal location for outdoor activities. It remains open daily from 9 a.m. until sunset, welcoming guests to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere.
In addition to the trail, Wolf Lake Park boasts a variety of amenities designed for the community. Visitors can take advantage of the picnic area, complete with charcoal grills, perfect for a family gathering or a relaxing afternoon with friends. For those planning larger events, the park also offers a community room that can be reserved for various occasions.
However, it’s important for park-goers to remember that certain activities are prohibited at the park. Swimming, diving, wading, or the use of any motorized or battery-operated boats are not allowed, ensuring the safety and preservation of the natural environment.
For more information about the park or any questions regarding the trail, individuals are encouraged to contact the Davie Park Rangers at 954-275-8504. Whether you’re taking a leisurely walk along the newly reopened trail or simply enjoying a quiet moment in the park, Wolf Lake continues to be a cherished green space for the Davie community.
