The community event is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops, located at 200 Gulf Stream Way.

The initiative gives residents a safe and convenient way to clear out expired or unused prescription medications that might otherwise pose risks if left at home. As part of the program, individuals who turn in their prescription medications will receive a $5 gift card, available while supplies last. BSO officials note that needles and sharp objects will not be accepted during the collection.
