Coral Springs, Florida – Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Special Victims Unit detectives have arrested a 24-year-old assistant athletic coach at Highlands Christian Academy on multiple charges of sexual misconduct, following an investigation into lewd and lascivious acts involving students. Authorities are urging anyone with information or potential victims to come forward as the investigation continues.

Ronison Exavier was taken into custody on Monday, Oct. 20, after reports surfaced that he had summoned a student to his office on Wednesday, Oct. 15, and inappropriately touched her. According to investigators, the student’s family contacted BSO promptly after learning of the incident, prompting immediate action by the SVU detectives.

During the course of the investigation, detectives identified a second victim who reported similar incidents. The first alleged act occurred in the fall of 2024, while the second took place in July of 2025. “Based on Exavier’s involvement with students at Highlands Christian Academy, detectives are concerned there may be additional victims,” officials stated.
