Pembroke Pines, Florida – Pembroke Pines residents are in for a magical start to the holiday season as the City of Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department announces SnowFest 2025, a residents-only event featuring festive activities, snow play, and a spectacular tree lighting ceremony. The event will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way.

Tickets for SnowFest are completely free, but they must be picked up in person starting Monday, November 3, at either the Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center or the TownGate Recreation Center. Residents are required to present proof of residency, such as a driver’s license and a utility bill, and tickets are limited to a maximum of six per household on a first-come, first-served basis. The emphasis on local participation ensures that Pembroke Pines residents can enjoy a festive, community-focused celebration.

Children and families attending SnowFest will have the chance to play in tons of snow alongside Santa and his friends. “The air will be filled with the sounds of the holidays with over 300 singers and dancers on the holiday stage, and snow flurries will fly through the air throughout the event,” according to the event details. The day promises a lively, immersive experience that blends traditional holiday cheer with interactive activities for all ages.

The combination of live performances, snow-filled activities, and the tree lighting ceremony aims to create a memorable and festive experience for everyone in attendance.

SnowFest 2025 also offers free parking, free rides, and a wide array of free activities for residents, making it an accessible and enjoyable holiday event. Concessions will be available for purchase, allowing families to enjoy seasonal treats while they participate in the festivities. From interactive play areas to holiday entertainment, SnowFest is designed to bring the community together in celebration of the season.

Sponsors have played a significant role in supporting the event. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital serves as the Children’s Stage Sponsor, Florida Blue sponsors the snow area, Jacobs backs the Kids Zone, and Naidu Orthodontics and American Pediatric Dental provide general support. These partnerships help ensure a safe, fun, and engaging experience for local residents.
