The 63rd Annual Greater Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade will light up the Intracoastal Waterway on Friday evening at 7 pm
Pompano Beach, Florida – The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 63rd Annual Holiday Boat Parade, one of South Florida’s most cherished seasonal traditions. Presented by Harrah’s Casino Pompano Beach, the parade will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m., bringing festive lights, music, and holiday cheer to residents and visitors alike.
This year’s theme, “Rock the Boat – Holiday Remix,” promises a fresh, vibrant twist on the parade’s usual spectacle. Boats of all shapes and sizes will glide along the Intracoastal Waterway, starting at Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach and traveling north to Hillsboro Boulevard. Each vessel will be adorned with colorful lights, creative decorations, and imaginative holiday displays, creating a magical scene for families to enjoy along the route.
The parade is widely celebrated as one of the longest-running boat parades in the nation, a tradition that has delighted generations of South Floridians. Local officials and organizers anticipate thousands of spectators to line the Intracoastal, taking in the unique combination of maritime creativity and holiday spirit that has made this event a community favorite.
Spectator seating will be available at Alsdorf Park, located at 2901 NE 14th Street on the 14th Street Causeway. For those looking for a more exclusive view, the Chamber offers a VIP viewing area at Miraggio Italian Grill, where the judge’s stand is positioned along the parade route at 3100 E. Atlantic Boulevard. Reservations are required for the VIP area and can be made by calling 954-876-1066.
For those unable to attend in person, the Chamber will stream the parade live on its YouTube and Facebook pages. Fans can watch the procession at www.youtube.com/@greaterpompanobeachchamber and www.facebook.com/pompanobeachchamber, allowing viewers across the country to enjoy the festive displays from the comfort of their homes.
Residents and drivers are reminded that the NE 14th Street Causeway and Atlantic Boulevard Intracoastal Waterway Bridges will be locked in the open position from approximately 6:15 p.m. until the parade passes. Those planning to travel in the area are encouraged to seek alternate routes during this time to avoid delays.
“This event brings the community together and showcases the creativity and holiday spirit of Pompano Beach,” said a spokesperson for the Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a tradition that has grown over decades and continues to be a highlight of the holiday season for families, friends, and visitors alike.”
For more details or questions about the parade, including viewing options and safety information, residents can contact the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce at 954-941-2940.
