West Palm Beach, Florida – The City of West Palm Beach has launched an exciting new tourism and lifestyle campaign aimed at showcasing the city’s diverse offerings to visitors. Titled “There’s MORE to West Palm Beach,” the campaign is designed to highlight the city’s unique attractions, vibrant culture, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for travelers from all over the world. To further support the campaign, a new microsite, www.VisitWPB.org, has been created to provide an easy-to-navigate platform for exploring everything the city has to offer.

The campaign’s goal is to redefine and amplify West Palm Beach’s identity as a top-tier tourism destination. Portia Holt, Chief Marketing Officer of the city, emphasized that the initiative is crucial in increasing awareness of West Palm Beach’s growing appeal. “The ‘There’s MORE to West Palm Beach’ campaign redefines and amplifies the city’s identity as a premier destination hub, increases awareness, and differentiates West Palm Beach from other cities in Florida,” said Holt.

This launch follows a significant achievement for the city. In January, West Palm Beach was awarded the prestigious 2025 Tripadvisor Traveler’s Choice® Best of the Best Award for Destinations. The recognition placed West Palm Beach as the #1 Trending Destination in the United States. Mayor Keith James expressed his excitement over the accolade, noting that the award underscores the city’s appeal. “This award is a testament that there is more to see and more to do in West Palm Beach,” said Mayor James. “Our city offers exceptional experiences to every visitor, and this recognition underscores the unique charm and vibrant spirit that make our city a top destination for travelers from around the world.”

As the largest city in the collection of diverse towns known as The Palm Beaches, West Palm Beach is a dynamic place that has something for every kind of traveler. Milton Segarra, President and CEO of Discover the Palm Beaches, highlighted the variety of experiences available in the city. “From its vibrant arts and culture scene to its diverse dining and shopping options, West Palm Beach truly has something for everyone,” said Segarra. “The City of West Palm Beach’s new campaign and microsite will help showcase its unique charm and endless possibilities. We invite visitors worldwide to discover how there is truly ‘more’ to West Palm Beach and create unforgettable memories here.”

The campaign’s emphasis on diversity extends beyond the city’s attractions. West Palm Beach is home to a rich arts and culture scene, world-class dining, and bustling entertainment districts, all of which have played a role in making the city stand out. Visitors will also find historical landmarks and natural attractions that showcase the region’s beauty. A key feature of the campaign is its emphasis on year-round programming, much of which is free to the public. This makes the city an accessible and inclusive destination for all types of visitors.

In addition to the promotional microsite, www.VisitWPB.org, the campaign includes both digital and print advertising. These efforts aim to reach a wide audience and highlight the city’s range of offerings, from cultural events to outdoor activities, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Visitors can explore everything from West Palm Beach’s trendy shopping districts to its serene waterfront parks, making it an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.

West Palm Beach’s thriving tourism economy is a testament to the city’s growing popularity. According to data from Discover the Palm Beaches (DTPB), 9.9 million visitors explored The Palm Beaches between January and December 2024, a 4.6% increase over the previous year. This marks the fourth consecutive year of growth in visitation since the pandemic’s impact on travel, further solidifying the area’s status as a key tourism destination in Florida. Florida as a whole is seeing record-breaking visitation numbers in 2024, and West Palm Beach is benefiting greatly from this upward trend.

“West Palm Beach’s success is a reflection of the city’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to visitors and residents alike,” said Mayor Keith James. “The ‘There’s MORE to West Palm Beach’ campaign is just the latest chapter in our city’s tourism growth story. We’re excited to invite even more visitors to discover what makes this city so special.”

The city’s new tourism campaign also highlights the synergy between local businesses, the arts community, and visitors. As one of the most vibrant areas in Southeast Florida, West Palm Beach offers an unparalleled experience with a combination of culture, commerce, and community. From its many museums and galleries to its lively nightlife and outdoor activities, there’s always something to do in the city. Whether it’s a relaxing day at the beach or exploring the city’s lively downtown area, West Palm Beach has something for every interest.

The city’s commitment to sustainability also plays a major role in its appeal. West Palm Beach is known for its green initiatives, with many programs and events centered around eco-conscious living and environmental conservation. Visitors can enjoy a blend of city life and nature, with easy access to pristine beaches, public parks, and outdoor attractions.

Discover the Palm Beaches, the region’s tourism marketing organization, oversees efforts to promote the 39 cities and towns that make up The Palm Beaches. With tourism being one of the county’s most significant industries, contributing approximately $10 billion annually to the local economy, the organization plays a key role in growing visitation to the area. The Palm Beaches also support around 90,000 local jobs, with tourism-related businesses benefiting from the steady flow of visitors.

The West Palm Beach tourism campaign aims to continue this growth by attracting even more visitors to the area. By promoting the city’s diverse offerings, the campaign encourages tourists to discover everything the city has to offer – from its art scene to its natural beauty and everything in between.
