Pompano Beach to host a business luncheon on May 27 to support small and local enterprises

Pompano Beach, Florida – The City of Pompano Beach is preparing to welcome small business owners, veterans, and entrepreneurs for a special Business Luncheon dedicated to promoting growth, opportunity, and connection within the local economy. Scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, the event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, located at 50 W. Atlantic Boulevard.
This luncheon is more than just a networking event—it’s an intentional effort to empower small and disadvantaged businesses, including veteran-owned and local enterprises. With city leaders and Broward County officials expected to attend, participants will have a valuable chance to meet decision-makers and gain access to vital information about economic development in the region.
“This event is about building bridges,” city officials said. “We want to make sure that all businesses, especially those that have traditionally been underserved, feel welcomed and supported in Pompano Beach.”
Attendees will have the chance to explore upcoming city projects, discover potential business opportunities, and receive practical guidance on how to register their businesses with the city and county. In addition, various resources aimed at helping business owners grow and sustain their operations will be highlighted during the event.
Organizers are encouraging participation from a wide range of businesses, including those just getting started and those looking to expand. By connecting entrepreneurs with officials and providing transparent information about opportunities, the City of Pompano Beach hopes to create a more inclusive and vibrant business environment.
“The luncheon aims to strengthen collaboration between the City of Pompano Beach and the local business community, ensuring equitable access to economic development opportunities for all,” event organizers emphasized.
The event is free, but space is limited, so early RSVP is recommended. Anyone interested in attending can call 754-752-1091 for more information or to reserve a spot.
With its focus on connection, support, and inclusivity, this luncheon promises to be an important step toward a stronger and more diverse local economy in Pompano Beach.
