Florida Veterans Foundation to continue expanding access to crucial dental care for veterans across the state in 2026
Tallahassee, Florida – The Florida Veterans Foundation (FVF) is thrilled to announce the continuation of its Veterans Dental Program in 2026, thanks to renewed funding from the Florida Legislature and approval from Governor Ron DeSantis. This vital initiative aims to expand access to essential dental care for veterans across the state, addressing an often-overlooked aspect of healthcare for those who have served in the military.
The program provides critical dental services to veterans who are not fully covered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Although veterans typically receive comprehensive medical care, dental services have remained a significant gap in their overall healthcare coverage. Many veterans face barriers to accessing necessary dental care, which can lead to other health complications. The FVF’s Veterans Dental Program is designed to bridge this gap by offering a broad range of dental services to eligible veterans.
Dr. Pia S.
