Barrage of bullets fired at Pompano Beach home sparks police investigation and search for suspects

Pompano Beach, Florida – Pompano Beach authorities are seeking the public’s help after a violent drive-by shooting targeted a local residence early Wednesday morning. The incident, which occurred near the 1300 block of Northwest 27th Avenue, sent shockwaves through the neighborhood and prompted an immediate response from law enforcement.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), the shooting was reported at approximately 3:30 a.m., when Broward County Regional Communications received multiple calls of gunfire in the area. Deputies from the BSO Pompano Beach district quickly arrived on the scene and confirmed that unknown subjects had fired a barrage of bullets into a home.

Surveillance footage captured a light-colored vehicle approaching the residence. The vehicle briefly drove past the home before reversing back into view. Two individuals armed with firearms then exited the car and discharged more than a dozen rounds into the property.
