Fort Lauderdale, Florida – As artificial intelligence continues to transform industries at lightning speed, CareerSource Broward is taking bold steps to help small and medium-sized businesses keep pace. The organization has announced the development of a first-of-its-kind AI Playbook designed specifically for local employers, providing practical guidance on understanding, adopting, and leveraging AI technologies to improve business operations.

“AI is reshaping every aspect of how employers do business, and CareerSource Broward is committed to ensuring that our small and medium-sized employers have the tools to succeed,” said Carol Hylton, President and CEO of CareerSource Broward. “The playbook will serve as a roadmap offering clear guidance on how AI can improve efficiency, streamline operations, strengthen customer engagement, and align workforce needs.”

The initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that Broward County businesses are well-prepared to navigate a rapidly changing technological landscape. With AI becoming increasingly central to everything from customer service and marketing to supply chain management and human resources, many smaller businesses have struggled to understand where to start. The playbook aims to remove that uncertainty, giving employers actionable strategies that are both realistic and effective.

“CareerSource Broward is leading the way in developing an AI playbook that will tech-enable Broward County employers to become more competitive,” said Jim Ryan, Chair of the Broward Workforce Development Board. “This initiative reinforces our commitment to helping employers navigate new technologies while ensuring our workforce has the skills needed to succeed in an AI-driven economy.”

To bring the project to life, CareerSource Broward has partnered with Gilead Sanders, LLC, a company recognized for its expertise in AI applications and workforce innovation. The collaboration will produce a comprehensive guide that not only explains AI concepts but also provides step-by-step methods for integrating these tools into daily business operations.

“We are pleased to partner with CareerSource Broward on this groundbreaking initiative,” said Marvin Dejean, CEO of Gilead Sanders, LLC. “We’re building the definitive roadmap that will transform how Broward County businesses compete in the AI economy. This playbook will arm local employers with battle-tested strategies to dominate their markets, giving business owners the exact frameworks that turn AI from an intimidating buzzword into their most powerful competitive weapon.”

The AI Playbook will cover a wide range of topics, including strategies for improving efficiency, enhancing customer engagement, and aligning workforce skills with technological needs. It is expected to serve as both a practical guide for immediate action and a long-term resource that businesses can reference as their AI journey evolves.

For CareerSource Broward, the playbook represents more than just a technological resource—it is part of a larger mission to strengthen the local economy. By helping employers adopt AI effectively, the organization also supports workforce development, ensuring that employees gain the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly automated and data-driven environment.
