Pembroke Pines, Florida – Pembroke Pines is set to come alive with music, dance, and cultural celebration as the City hosts its second annual Hispanic Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2025. From 5 to 9 PM, residents of all ages are invited to the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way, for an evening full of festivities that highlight the vibrant traditions, flavors, and talents of the Hispanic community.

The festival is free to attend and promises a nonstop array of activities for families, friends, and neighbors. Thanks to the support of the Broward County Cultural Division, the event is poised to bring together local performers, artisans, and culinary talents in a celebration that reflects the city’s commitment to cultural diversity and community engagement.

Among the highlights, attendees can enjoy El Escenario, featuring live performances by salsa legends whose rhythms will have the crowd dancing all evening. For a more relaxed experience, Abuela’s House, sponsored by Publix, offers a cozy lounge space to unwind and enjoy the festivities at a slower pace. Adding to the dynamic atmosphere, Voces y Pasos will showcase roaming cultural performances, bringing music and dance to every corner of the venue.

Those with a creative streak can visit Cartas y Corazones, a crafting corner where participants can make cards and small crafts, and food enthusiasts will love La Cocina de Mamá, an interactive kitchen space that offers cooking demonstrations and tastings of traditional Hispanic dishes.

The festival also features El Mercado, a bustling vendor marketplace offering a variety of goods, from handmade crafts to specialty foods, giving attendees the chance to shop local while supporting Hispanic entrepreneurs. Each area of the festival is designed to engage visitors and provide opportunities to learn, celebrate, and connect with the rich cultural heritage of the community.

City officials encourage residents to take advantage of this celebration to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of Hispanic culture. “The Hispanic Heritage Festival is a wonderful way to bring the community together while honoring the traditions and contributions of Hispanic residents,” said a city spokesperson.
