World’s largest contract logistics provider GXO Logistics to establish new regional office in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – GXO Logistics, Inc., described as the world’s largest pure-play contract logistics provider, is expanding its presence in South Florida with plans to locate a new regional office at T3 FAT Village in Fort Lauderdale.

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance announced the move, saying GXO will establish a 35,000-square-foot regional office at the development. The new location will support the company’s growth across its Americas and Asia Pacific business.

The decision brings a major global logistics company into one of Fort Lauderdale’s growing business districts and adds another high-profile name to the city’s efforts to attract companies, investment and skilled workers.

GXO is a global provider of technology-driven supply chain solutions. The company has approximately 150,000 team members working across 27 countries and serves about 30 percent of Fortune 100 companies. Its operations rely on technologies such as automation, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning to help businesses make their supply chains faster, smarter and more efficient.

The company’s arrival will also add momentum to the redevelopment of FAT Village, an area that has been undergoing significant transformation. T3 serves as the centerpiece of the redevelopment, anchoring a mixed-use neighborhood in the heart of Flagler Village.

The project is designed to combine office space with residential units, retail, dining, immersive art and public gathering areas. Its developers and local officials have promoted the site as a destination capable of bringing businesses and professionals together in a changing part of Fort Lauderdale.
