Hollywood, Florida – The City of Hollywood announced that the Utility Billing & Customer Service office will be closed today while staff complete mandatory quarterly training. Residents and businesses who need to pay utility bills or access account services are encouraged to use alternative options during the temporary closure.

Although walk-in service is unavailable, customers can continue to make payments online through the city’s secure portal at https://ow.ly/CmNa50W8qRi, or drop off payments at the City Hall drop box located on the north side of the building next to the “drive thru” window. These options ensure that residents can manage their accounts without interruption.

For inquiries or account assistance, the utility office remains accessible by phone at 954-967-4357, with representatives available 24 hours a day. Email communication is also available at [email protected], with responses typically provided within three business days. The city emphasized that these remote services will continue to function normally while the office is closed.

Staff members are scheduled to complete their training today, with walk-in services set to resume on Monday, December 22nd, at 7 a.m. The city thanked residents for their patience and understanding as employees participate in training designed to improve customer service and operational efficiency.

City officials reminded customers that taking advantage of online payments and drop box options can help avoid delays, especially during periods when the office is closed for essential training or other operational needs. By providing multiple channels for payments and inquiries, the City of Hollywood aims to maintain consistent service and ensure that residents can manage their utility accounts conveniently.
