Broward County, Florida – Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office have confirmed that 19-year-old Juwon J. McGraw, who had been reported missing earlier this month, has been safely located. The young man was found unharmed by officers with the Coconut Creek Police Department on Tuesday, December 23, and has since been reunited with his family.

McGraw had been reported missing on Thursday, December 18, after last being seen around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17. He was at Broward Health Imperial Point Hospital in Fort Lauderdale when he was last observed, prompting concerns for his safety and the issuance of a missing persons alert. The alert mobilized local authorities and the community to assist in locating the young man.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit, McGraw’s safe recovery is a welcome relief to both investigators and his family. “We are grateful to the Coconut Creek Police Department and the community for their assistance in locating Juwon quickly and ensuring his safe return,” officials said in a statement.
