Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives successfully locate missing 12-year-old Josiah James safe in Parkland

Broward County, Florida – Broward County authorities have successfully located a missing 12-year-old boy, bringing relief to his family and the local community. Detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) reported that Josiah James, who had been missing since Saturday afternoon, was found safe and unharmed in Parkland.

According to investigators, Josiah was last seen around 1 p.m. on January 10 in the 5800 block of Holmberg Road in Parkland, prompting the issuance of a missing person alert. Law enforcement officials quickly mobilized to locate the boy, coordinating efforts across multiple units and engaging with the community to gather information.

BSO detectives confirmed that Josiah was located without incident and is currently safe. Authorities did not report any injuries or signs of foul play. “We are grateful for the swift cooperation of the community and the hard work of our officers in ensuring Josiah’s safety,” a spokesperson for the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
