West Palm Beach, Florida – West Palm Beach residents are being reminded that several city facilities will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, and the Grassy Waters Nature Center will all be closed for the federal holiday, giving staff and the public a day to honor the civil rights leader’s legacy.

Despite the closures, essential services like regular trash and garbage pickup will continue as scheduled, ensuring that city operations remain consistent for residents. City officials encourage residents to plan accordingly and take note of the temporary closures when arranging visits or meetings.
