Celsius expands South Florida presence with $11.5 million Broward warehouse purchase

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Celsius Holdings has expanded its presence in South Florida after purchasing an industrial warehouse in Tamarac for $11.5 million, adding another property to the growing footprint of the beverage company in the region.

The Boca Raton-based company acquired the 35,563-square-foot industrial building located at 10151 N.W. 67th St. in western Broward County through an affiliated entity, according to a deed filed with Broward County on July 7. The transaction was confirmed by property data firm Vizzda.

The seller was an affiliate of Tamarac-based nutritional supplement company IQ Formulations, which identifies the property as its headquarters on its website. The warehouse is positioned near the Sawgrass Expressway, providing convenient transportation access that could make the location valuable for distribution, storage, or other business operations.

The purpose of Celsius’ purchase has not yet been disclosed. The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment about its plans for the property, and IQ Formulations also did not provide additional details regarding the sale.

The deal represents a significant increase in value compared with the property’s previous transaction. Broward County records show the warehouse was last sold in 2013 for $2.85 million, meaning the latest sale price reflects a substantial gain for the property over the past decade.

Celsius’ acquisition comes as the company continues to grow its position in the competitive energy and fitness beverage industry. The company develops and produces drinks under several well-known brands, including Celsius, Alani Nu, and Rockstar Energy.

The company has also strengthened its relationship with global beverage leader PepsiCo. Purchase, New York-based PepsiCo holds an 11% stake in Celsius through a $585 million investment deal announced last August, providing another connection between the two companies as Celsius expands its market reach.

The energy drink category has experienced strong growth in recent years. According to Grand View Research, the global energy drinks market was valued at $79.4 billion in 2024. The San Francisco-based research firm expects the industry to continue expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 8% through 2030, when the market is projected to reach approximately $125.1 billion.

Celsius has been one of the companies benefiting from the rising demand for functional beverages marketed toward consumers seeking energy, fitness support, and healthier alternatives within the category.

Led by Chairman and CEO John Fieldly, Celsius reported strong financial results during the first quarter of the year. The company recorded $783 million in revenue during the first three months, according to its latest quarterly filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission submitted on May 7. That figure represents a major increase from the $329 million reported during the same period a year earlier.

The company also reported first-quarter net income of $110 million, compared with $44 million during the first quarter of the previous year.

Despite the company’s recent growth and financial improvements, Celsius shares have faced pressure in the stock market. Shares were trading at $28.76 Monday morning, down 0.79% from the market opening. The stock had declined 35.22% for the year ending July 20.

The Tamarac warehouse purchase adds another piece of real estate to Celsius’ expanding operations in South Florida, though the company has not revealed whether the facility will be used for distribution, office space, manufacturing support, or another purpose.
As the energy drink market continues to expand and competition increases, the acquisition highlights Celsius’ ongoing investment in infrastructure and its efforts to support future growth in one of the fastest-growing segments of the beverage industry.
