BCPS launches new AI resource hub to help families understand artificial intelligence

Broward County, Florida – Broward County Public Schools is giving families, students, employees and the wider community a new place to find information about artificial intelligence and its growing role in local schools.

The district has launched Broward Powered by AI, a centralized online resource designed to explain how BCPS is introducing artificial intelligence into education and other areas of its operations. The website is intended to serve as a one-stop source for information as the technology becomes more common in classrooms and throughout the school system.

The launch comes as schools across the country continue to examine how AI can be used in teaching, learning and student support while also addressing questions about responsible use. For BCPS, the new website provides a way to explain its approach and keep stakeholders updated as implementation moves forward.

“We understand that introducing a new technology can raise questions and concerns among District stakeholders,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. “Broward Powered by AI allows us to address those concerns by providing one source for answers, resources and information about why and how BCPS is adopting artificial intelligence.”
